We are here

to consult and participate with state and local governments and other entities and persons in public decision making processes as the entity representing the residents of the community of Hope, Alaska, who comprise its membership.

We work

to hold, manage, improve, utilize, and lease, sell, or otherwise dispose of interested in real property situated in or near the community known as Hope, Alaska, for non-profit public community purposes.

We operate

exclusively for charitable, benevolent, social, literary, and educational purposes, including (without limitation by this enumeration) receiving, holding and using contributions for the purposes of said corporation.

Our membership

is open to any person who has maintained an abode in the Hope area for at least 30 days and is registered to vote in the Hope precinct for at least 90 days. Members remain eligible for so long as he or she retains and abode in the Hope area and continues to be registered to vote in the Hope precinct.

We own

several historical and functional properties in Hope, Alaska, including:
